James Marshall, born in 1968 in New London, Connecticut, is known as Dalek and celebrated for his iconic "Space Monkey" character, a symbol of human struggle in a technology-driven world. He apprenticed under Takashi Murakami, refining his fusion of street art and fine art.
His work has evolved from character-driven imagery to bold geometric abstractions exploring color and form, with collaborations for Nike and Microsoft.
